ABOUT DR. MIKE WELLS

Dr. Wells has been preaching the Gospel since 1982. He spent 10 years of his life as an assistant pastor and youth pastor.  Both of these churches grew to have the largest youth independent Baptist youth departments in their states.  He was a pastor four years and had one of the fastest growing churches in the state of TN.  For the past ten years he and his family have traveled in the field of evangelism.

In April of 2007 he preached the 50th Anniversary of the Bible Baptist Church in the Philippines (the church that missionary Dr. Bob Hughes started. That day there were 14,565 in attendance.  He also preached the 7th Annual World Youth Congress where 1,400 young people attended from 180 churches.  During these two events over 1,000 were saved and 212 young people surrendered to full time service to be preachers and missionaries. 

Seven years ago he began the Soul Winning Leadership Conferences in Southeast Asia.  In February of 2008 Dr. Wells took 16 men and four ladies with him to conduct these conferences. During the 38 days, thousands of nationals attended the conferences from 17 foreign countries to receive training in soul winning and leadership.  The team preached and taught the Gospel to 52,252 people.  During this trip there were 30,880 who receive the Lord as their Saviour and 65 people surrendered to full time service to be preachers and missionaries. 

He has been used of the Lord to help found over 50 churches, three Bible colleges, and author three books.

Dr. Wells has been married to Sylvia for 24 years.  They have four children Jonathan, Joshua, Jared and Rebekah.
